This story begins with an explanation by Optimus Prime on the origins of the war on the planet Cybertron between the Autobots and the Decepticons. This war made an Energon Cube, or commonly called as the Allspark hurled into space and fell on the earth. But it seems it was too late, because the Decepticons have been in the earth, looking for the opportunity to be able to find the Cube.
That opportunity finally arrived. Blackout approached a US Air Force base located in Qatar. He then destroys the base, killing all the soldiers that are in it. The main objective is to infiltrate the US military data networks for seeking the Cube presence information. However, all that he is able to be defeated. Not satisfied with his failure, he then releases Scorponok from his back. The scorpion robot continues to move searching for soldiers who were able to escape from the massacre at the headquarters.
After this failure, Frenzy infiltrated the US presidential aircraft, Air Force One. This time, he managed to find the information sought by Decepticons: keberadaanMegatron, the involvement of Sector Seven, as well as glasses ancestors auctioned by Sam Witwicky. In the eyes of the stored coordinates of where the cube is located.
